The current management programme is two calvings, Autumn and Spring. The steer calves are sold off as weaners, which regularly top the weaner sales each year. Top Hereford weaners at the Gunnedah Weaner Sale April 2006 sold to a top of $710 and the cull heifers are retained and fattened on winter crops each year.

Top quality bulls are selected annually with the Hereford herd based onIronbark blood lines. Angus are joined to Booroomooka, DSK and NED bulls with the Black Baldy cows being joined to Charolais bulls from Minnie Vale and Richmond Studs.

Approximately 1167 cows and heifers joined as at 30th September 2006, to calve in 2007.
